The Marietta Perks coffee shop was incorporated on January 3, 2020, born out of discovering and embracing our “Why”, and driven by finding our purpose here on Earth, and the selfless acts that have positive impacts on those around you, and leaving this impact and your mark and legacy behind.
We gave it the name Marietta Perks for a couple of reasons. One, because before there was an Atlanta or a Chattanooga there was a Marietta, Georgia. Marietta is essential to who we are. Its’ where we call home. It’s where our story came to life. We admire and are inspired by the great people of this city and the surrounding communities. Second, “Perks” has a triple meaning – coffee, we have free meeting rooms to enjoy, and it’s defined as to become or make more cheerful, lively, interesting, or joyful.
We want to be known as your home town coffee shop. One that welcomes individuals from all walks of life, who want to gather with family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, or just come to relax. We want to be a place where people meet new people, where life changing thoughts and conversations happen, where surprises happen, where congratulations happens, where heartfelt reunions happen, where second chances happen, where forgiveness and “I’m sorry” happens, or where we celebrate and reminisce those before us who are no longer with us who had a positive impact on our life and the world.
We exist not only to serve you but to inspire and motivate YOU, our loyal customers, in hopes that you’ll find your “Why”, your reason for being, your passion. That thing you live for, the reason for which you wake up in the morning. Discover those things which are personal to you that are specific to your life, your personal values, your beliefs, that bring you joy. We’re all here for only a short period of time, and we don’t know for how long, but each of us is here for a very good reason. Create what is going to make your life fulfilled and worthwhile.
